This week there have been all too familiar developments pointing to another international military intervention in a country torn apart by civil war: Syria. A widening of the Syrian conflict will impact the whole region but not just Muslim nations. Across the Mediterranean Sea from Syria, the people of Cyprus are also anxious about how things develop.
