Damascus airport has reopened for the first time since the fall of Bashar Assad. A test flight took off from the capital and landed in the northern city of Aleppo on Wednesday morning. The airport is currently only open to domestic flights. Officials are calling for sanctions to be lifted to allow Syria's aviation sector to function again.
