Forced marriage in Ivory Coast

When Alimatou Bamba was 13-years-old, she was married to a 72-year-old man. He attacked her with a machete and cut off her hands. Sadly, stories like her's aren't too uncommon - around 36 percent of Ivorian girls are married off before they turn 18.
