Bettina Braun's nine-year-old daughter Victoria and 13-year-old son Marvin have only ever heard about the Deutschmark from others. Ten years ago, Bettina was pleased about the introduction of the euro. Today many bank customers worry about the currency's stability and prefer to invest their money in real estate or gold. But Bettina Braun still thinks highly of the euro. She says not only has it made travel easier, it's also promoted trade within Europe. Julia Henrichmann reports on life with the euro.
