Two transvestites fight for asylum in Denmark

AdministratorSeptember 30, 2012

Two transgender individuals are fighting for asylum in Denmark. They come from Guatemala, and they're afraid of being sent home where, just this year, 17 transvestites have been murdered in hate crimes. Activists are striving to prevent the deportation, which they say would contradict Denmark's pledge to uphold human rights. Our correspondent Malcolm Brabant met the two in the Danish capital.
