延续了31年的埃及全国紧急状态法被取消。该国最高军事委员会今天(5月31日)通过官方的中东通讯社发表一份声明称,即日起取消紧急状态法,但军队仍将继续承担国家安全责任。1981年,埃及前总统萨达特遇刺身亡事件发生后,该国宣布实施紧急状态法。2011年2月,军方在穆巴拉克总统被推翻后掌握权力,扩大了紧急状态法的范围,使任意逮捕和军事审判成为可能。军事委员会曾许诺,在议会选举前即取消紧急状态法,此后又宣布延至反穆巴拉克民众起义一周年纪念日,即今年的1月25日。
