肯尼亚选举正式结束

选举下届总统和议会的肯尼亚大选正式结束。因为在许多投票站排起了数公里长的队伍,所以一些投票区不得不延长站点开放时间。此次大选是自2007年选举后发生大规模暴力骚乱以来,肯尼亚首次举行的选举。当时的暴力造成1千多人死亡。而今年的选举也被暴力阴影所笼罩。据警方消息,在选举开始之前出现的袭击事件造成至少有12人死亡。
普遍认为,新总统将在现任总理奥廷加(Raila Odinga)和前财政部长肯雅塔(Uhuru Kenyatta)之间产生。
